These terms are an agreement between you and M Salauddin Morshed, an individual based in Bangladesh, who runs Markpad (markpad.md). By using Markpad you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it.

Who can use Markpad

You must be at least 16. Keep your account details accurate and your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your docs are yours

You keep every right you have in what you write and upload. You give us permission to store, copy, display and process it only as needed to run Markpad for you — for example, to save your docs, show a shared doc to the people you share it with, and keep backups. That permission ends when you delete the content, apart from backups that expire on their own and anything the law makes us keep.

Sharing

You decide what to share. A shared doc can be read by anyone with its link, and edited by anyone signed in if you allow editing, until you stop sharing, the link expires, or you reset it. What people do with a doc you shared with them is between you and them. Images you upload are reachable by anyone who has their address.

What you may not do

Don't use Markpad to publish or share:

• anything illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• malware, phishing or scams;
• spam or advertising;
• harassment, threats or hate;
• someone else's private information without their permission;
• sexual content involving minors — we remove it and report it to the authorities.

And don't abuse the service: no guessing doc addresses, scraping, overloading it, or getting around its limits.

Reports and removal

Anyone can report a shared doc. We may take down a doc, stop it being shared, or suspend an account that breaks these terms, usually without notice when the harm is serious. If you think we got it wrong, write to contact[at]markpad.md.

The service

Markpad is free and provided as is. We work to keep it running and your docs safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or stop features. Keep your own copies of anything important — any doc can be downloaded as Markdown.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost content or data, arising from your use of Markpad. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes go to the courts of Dhaka. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections the consumer laws of your country give you.

Changes

When these terms change, we update this page and its date. For a significant change we will also tell you by email or in the app. Questions: contact[at]markpad.md.
